Create your SmartPOS account

Creating an account takes about two minutes and needs no card. You can do it on a phone, but a laptop or tablet is easier for the setup steps that follow.

What you need

• An email address you check (we send the verification link there)
• Your business name as customers know it
• Your country: USA, United Arab Emirates or Pakistan

Steps

1. Open Start free trial from any page on smartposhub.com or your edition’s site.
2. Enter your name, email and a password of at least 8 characters.
3. Pick your country. This sets your currency (USD, AED or PKR), how prices show tax, and the date format. You can change the format later, but pick the right country now so your trial reflects your real prices.
4. Enter your business name and accept the terms.
5. Open the verification email and click the link. If it does not arrive within five minutes, check spam, then use Resend on the sign-in page.

What happens next

You land in the setup wizard, which walks you through the business details, your first location and your first products. Your 14-day trial starts now; nothing is charged at the end unless you choose a plan.

Common problems

• “Email already in use”: you or a colleague already signed up with it. Use Forgot password on the login page.
• Wrong country chosen: tell us through the contact form within the trial and we will switch it before you add data.
