Change the language and edit translations

SmartPOS ships with translations for many languages, including Spanish, Arabic, Urdu, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean and Hindi. Arabic and Urdu run right to left.

Your own language

Click your name at the top right → Profile → Language. This changes only your screen.

Each staff member’s language

In User management → Users → Edit, set the user’s language. A technician can work in Vietnamese while the front desk uses English, on the same account.

Receipt language

The invoice layout decides the labels printed on receipts. Create one layout per language, or a bilingual layout (for example Arabic and English side by side), and choose which one each location uses.

Edit a word

If a translation does not match how your trade talks, edit it: Settings → Language → Custom translations, search for the word and type your own. Your edits survive updates.

Product names in two languages

Add the second-language name in the product description or a custom field and include it on the receipt layout.
